Zdravstveno stanje ratnog zločinca Ratka Mladića i dalje je veoma teško, a njegov sin Darko Mladić tvrdi da se situacija dodatno pogoršala posljednjih sedmica.
U izjavi za RTRS Darko Mladić rekao je da je njegov otac u proteklih mjesec dana doživio dva moždana udara, od kojih se posljednji dogodio prošle subote.
– Ti izvještaji su stigli, znači, jedan je stigao u petak ujutro, drugi u petak popodne. Јa ne mogu te detalje da iznosim, ali suština je, mogu slobodno da kažem, da je on bukvalno na kraju života – naveo je Mladić.
Prema njegovim riječima, zdravstveno stanje Ratka Mladića trenutno je toliko ozbiljno da bi svako dodatno pogoršanje moglo imati fatalne posljedice.
– Stanje je nepromijenjeno, on je toliko slab da bi svaka promjena na gore značila bukvalno kraj, tako da je situacija veoma, veoma ozbiljna – rekao je Darko Mladić.
Dodao je kako porodica smatra da Ratko Mladić u Hagu ne dobija adekvatnu njegu, zbog čega insistiraju da mu se omogući premještaj u Srbiju.
– On ne bi bio pušten na slobodu u Srbiju, niti faktički na liječenje. On bi bio prebačen iz jedne medicinske ustanove u drugu, u ovom slučaju iz holandske medicinske ustanove u Srbiju, gdje bi mu se ukazala njega za koju mi smatramo da ne dobija u Hagu onoliko koliko bi trebalo i koliko je moguće. Njihovi ljekari to odbijaju – izjavio je Mladić.
Istakao je da porodica očekuje odluku suda u narednim danima te da vjeruje kako vremena više nema mnogo.

– Prosto pokušavamo da za mog oca osiguramo ono što su, onaj minimum prava koji su i svi ostali osuđeni u Hagu imali, bez obzira koje su nacionalnosti – zaključio je Darko Mladić.
Ratko Mladić pravosnažno je osuđen na doživotnu kaznu zatvora zbog genocida u Srebrenici, progona Bošnjaka i Hrvata širom Bosne i Hercegovine, terorisanja građana Sarajeva i uzimanja pripadnika Ujedinjenih nacija za taoce tokom rata u BiH.
